Need a separate account for each entity?
Most groups run every location from one account. If an entity needs its own logins, roles and permissions, it gets its own Paycove account under your parent account, with its own statement and the same 1%. Whether we invoice the parent or each account is agreed when you sign up.
Questions
What does the 1% cover?
Every payment we collect for you, card or ACH, scheduled installment or one-off invoice. Payments taken outside Paycove aren't counted.
Are Stripe's fees part of the 1%?
No. Stripe bills its processing fees on your own Stripe account. Card-fee recovery recovers that cost as a disclosed surcharge where your state allows it, with bank transfer available beside the card.
Why a percentage?
It tracks what lands in your bank account rather than seats you bought. We only get paid when you get paid. The $500 a month is the only fixed fee.
Do I need one account or several?
Most groups run every location from one account as a template, each with its own Stripe account, branding and books, and pay the $500 once. Some need a separate Paycove account for each entity so each has its own logins and permissions. Every account after the first is $50 a month. We'll tell you which fits on the call.
Are seats really unlimited?
Yes. Add every rep, admissions officer, bursar and bookkeeper. Roles and permissions control what each can see and do.
Does the 1% come down?
Above about $1M a month, yes. We price those individually.
What if we collect less than $100K a month?
Then the card fees we'd recover are usually less than the bill. We'll say so on the call.
Is there a contract?
Month to month or annual, your choice. Your processor stays yours, so leaving is exporting your invoices and turning the schedules off.
